CARDINALS WINTER PLAYHOUSE

Red Birds ... young and old Frolic ...
in the dormant honeysuckle
Masking Mothers ... in distant camo tan

SPRING'S BACK

Clothing fits the wearer
Watcher be compelled
Yes ... try upon your body
That dress,
the vest,
the tails.
The shirts ... Oh Yes
They'll fit you,
The sizes ...

This CAbi dressing spree.

WIND BREATHES

Wind breathes
heavy in my ears
bringing near voices of the forest
tantalizing my eyes with distant sights
piquing interest
of inhabitants
close scents informing of weather approaching
brushing hair on my cheek
breezily whispering in my ears

NATURE OF THE FLOWER

Nature of the flower
Interconnected to maturity
Growth to overpopulation
Let fly to migrate
Abundantly implanting nature’s bounty
In the compostable soil of the universe

WINTER SUNRISE

Winter Sunrise

Grey striations receeding upward
layers of peach intertwined
thick as cotton tufting
thining streaks of blue bloom forth

This cottony blanket of grey
receeds and rises with the golden orange
caresses ushering pigment
from beneath the coverlet while
grey cotton thinly blankets
rising currents of yellow to peach

The blankets of grey droop
awakening soft dithered blue to white
embracing the orb and
brilliant, glistening underlament
cold and starkly white
devoid of pigment ushering white gold
it bothers the horizon full, Brilliant.
